It's still the best neighborhood watering hole! Music, karaoke, dinner specials... Always a good time.

My husband and I had been here MANY years ago when we lived in Fort Wayne, but have lived in Virginia for the past 13 years, so it had been a while. Now that we have moved back to town we thought we'd visit some of our "old haunts". We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with many things. We stopped here on a Thursday evening and found out they have "ALL YOU CAN EAT" frog legs. While I want to go back and try that some Thursday evening, I didn't feel I could do an all you can eat item justice on this trip, so I ordered the Swiss Steak, which was DELICIOUS! Very tender and cooked just right. For the sides I had mashed potatoes with gravy (that's an obvious choice with swiss steak) and they were good along with a tossed salad that was crisp and very good blue cheese dressing. My husband had the hot wings which he really enjoyed and said he would order again. The service was excellent - friendly and efficient. It was very clean and the memorabilia is fun to look at. So we are definitely planning on going back again and hope to take some friends with us next time.

Bad karaoke host and mediocre food. Why would you want to be crammed in a tiny place like this !?

Great neighborhood place. Meat loaf was great.

So I've lived in Fort Wayne for almost a year and a half now, and have been to the co-op at least twice a month since then and never even NOTICED this place right next to it until a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some good bar food after work one rainy night last week and he suggested this place; so we tried it out and were very happy. First off, the atmosphere is great - everything is clean, the staff are all friendly, the noise level isn't ridiculous, it's not dark & seedy, the booths are nice (looked new) and you don't have those AWFUL ugly ceiling tiles we seem to find in every restaurant in Fort Wayne. As for the food - great, delicious, simple bar food. We shared the bourbon wings, citrus chipotle wings and the sample basket. The bourbon wings are amazing, especially if you dunk them in the bleu cheese (the waitress recommended this and she was spot on); but the citrus chipotle ones are even BETTER. Seriously stellar wings. The sample basket was good if you're looking for fried-everything. We need to go back now and get some frog legs and try out the sandwiches and entrees. We'll be back!

Me and my girls went last Thursday night to see her friend perform (2 person group called Basket Case, awesome!) . We had a really nice time! Service was excellent, the place was clean, crowd was diverse and friendly! Loved the smoking patio also! Parking is a little tricky but worth it! We did not eat on this trip, but we checked out the menu and will def be going back for their food!

My tenderloin had too much pepper and was flimsy. My husbands taco salad was not good. Our waitress seemed to disappear a lot. Probably won't return.

Good job new green frog ownership, management and waitstaff, you just lost a loyal customer.

This place is great. The new owner is making this place even better. It's clean, super friendly and great food. The fish special on Friday is one of the best in town.

Worst service I have EVER had, anywhere. Hated the place and have not been back, and will not go back. I don't even know why I stayed there as long as I did. Spend your money somewhere else.

Owner thinks he is a tough guy. Service was horrible. New ownership. If this is how it is don't go!!!!!!!

On a cold winter night, a birthday needed celebration. Four friends gathered at The Green Frog, only to see a the parking along the front filled. The four friends shiver-jaunted down one half a block, wondering whether the Green Frog would indeed guide them to a happier place. The Green Frog was dark, scene-y and intimate. We were four of twelve patrons scattered around the dimly lit bar, with a few more cosing up in the wooden booths along the old wooden wall. We warmed up in an alcove by the entrance, and then the night began. For the next four and a half hours patrons came and went, but we stayed. From "Dark and Stormy's" to "Beez Neez" to strawberry and bourbon concoctions to anything with tequila to anything with gin to Trappist beers, the liquor went down as the conversation did - smooth and effortless. Among a myriad of subjects, we talked about a weird acquaintance we suspect could be god, Pan's labyrinth, business school mania, sharks, and the realistic chance that there could be a fight club operating in a Calhoun street Chinatown basement. Time just flew by as if we were sitting in a living room on a lazy Sunday afternoon. That's when I knew that Green Frog was the beez neez. We ended up having a thirty minute conversation with the bartender/mixologist and the manager, both of whom are Fort Wayne natives. Should have known. No outsider can make you feel so much at home in the Fort. Turns out, he owns his own home, almost paid off(not a here today gone tomorrow) type. He just told us to text him for a reservation and sign off as "Them from The Green Frog.". The Green Frog is the perfect place for spending quality time with quality friends over some quality cocktails on a quality gal's birthday.

Super great neighborhood bar. I say neighborhood but that means anyone living within 13,500 miles any direction from the GFI! That should cover everyone in our world. The owner Cindy and her son Ben make everyone feel right at home and as if they've known you for years. The service from waitresses like Marina will again make you feel right at home. The food they serve taste like homemade, their lunch specials are.. well, their special, the beer is cold and their mixed drinks are made with care. Yes their frog legs are great but so is their fish, ribs, steaks, hamburgers, soups, etc. etc. etc. You just can't go wrong at the Green Frog Inn.

20 years after my brief stint of life in Fort Wayne, on this random sunny Saturday afternoon, I suddenly thought about The Green Frog Inn. Lo, through the miracle of Yelp, I am happy to see that it is still a fun and vibrant local spot. Looking better than ever, too. Maybe we'll meet again one day.

Growing up on this side of town, the Green Frog Inn was a mythical place that the grown ups would go to after school events or just because. I felt like I was truly becoming a grown-up when I first came to the Green Frog. Why the Green Frog? I don't know the exact origins of this name, but they do sell frog legs? Should you get them? Yes! They are wonderful and taste kind of like chicken but better. Plus, you win infinite bragging points to your friends that you ate frog legs and they did not. The Frog is an intimate dive bar that serves wonderful food and has good beer on tap. While there is a full bar, I say just go straight for the burger and beer combo. There are a lot of regulars here but as it is Fort Wayne, they are generally friendly and cool bunch.
